Therapy Dog Experience - TRVATHERAPYDOG

This program held in conjunction with the Veterans Administration Hospital. Veterans from the hospital will come and enjoy spending time with dogs currently in training to become service dogs with the Paws for Purple Heart program. Engaging with animals can provide emotional comfort, reduce stress and anxiety, increase social engagement and improve physical activity. You will also learn more about the Canine Assisted Warrior program that they offer.
