Join us for a family friendly hike to one of Richmond’s historic gems, Belle Isle. Learn about the geologic and human history of the island, and the role it has and continues to play in the life of the City. Limited parking is available at 300 Tredegar Street, Richmond, VA 23225. Additional parking can be found on adjacent streets. We will cover about one mile in this walk, on varying gravel terrain. Please wear comfortable, sturdy shoes for walking. This hike will cover mixed surfaces with minimal elevation change.
All ages; Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult.
This hike will begin from Tredegar Parking Lot. Meet at the kiosk at the bottom of the lot adjacent to Tredegar Street- the last kiosk before walking onto the pedestrian bridge to Belle Isle.
