Just Craftin' Around PM - TRARTPM

Join our evening craft group for persons (ages 15+) with disabilities. We will explore new art mediums, make friends, exchange ideas, and learn about the world of crafts. This program is designed for adults with disabilities.

Coping Through Leisure - TRCOPING

This program, offered in conjunction with Interceding Consultants (a provider focusing on addiction counseling) promotes the use of leisure and recreation through cultural, social and creative enrichment. Participants will learn to develop healthy coping strategies to improve their mental health, recreation choices and wellness on their road to recovery. Creative Connections - TRCREATIVECONNECTION

This program empowers seniors to lead active fulfilling lives by promoting independence, nurturing emotional well-being and strengthening social connections. Through a variety of engaging sessions, seniors are inspired to stay physically active, explore new interests and expand their horizons. The program offers opportunities for physical exercise, cognitive stimulation, emotional growth and social engagement.

This program meets on the first Thursday of the following months: March, April, May, June, July and August at Linwood Robinson.
The Annie Giles location meets on the 2nd Friday of March, April and May.

Note: The May 7 session at Linwood Robinson will run from 10am-10:30am.

This program, held in conjunction with the Richmond Public Library, is a unique community-based book club program for adults and adolescents with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities and more. Pontoon Boat Ride with Beyond Boundaries RVA - TRPONTOON

Enjoy a relaxing time on the James River as we ride on a pontoon boat run by Beyond Boundaries RVA, a non-profit organization that specializes in guiding participants with disabilities on outdoor activities. We will meet at a boat loading dock on the James River in Henrico VA. Details of the meeting location will be included in your receipt text. Participants and accompanying caregivers must complete a waiver form with Beyond Boundaries RVA (link provided in the receipt text). Advanced registration is required, and space is very limited. Roll and Tumble - TRROLLTMBL

An inclusive-based gymnastics program catered to children with and without disabilities. The program allows participants to gain hands-on experience and learn the fundamentals of gymnastics while engaging in meaningful play. This is a fun way for children to get their body moving and learn skills to improve coordination, strength, and endurance. Parents are required to be in attendance with their child during the sessions and will be guided by an instructor. For more information, contact Chelsea Fields, CTRS at 804-646-6817.

Sneaker Dance - TRSNEAKER

This dance in comfortable shoes, is designed for adults with disabilities. We’ll spin the tunes, dance, walk the red carpet, have photo opportunities, caricature artist, snacks and more.
