All refund requests must be submitted in writing to PRCFFinanceDiv@Rva.gov . o Refund requests must be received a minimum of 7 business days before the start of the program o No refunds will be given after a program/class has ended. o If a participant is unable to participate after a class has started due to illness/ hospitalization a household credit will be given if documentation is provided. o Payments made via credit card will be refunded to the original form of payment. If the original form of payment is no longer available, a check will be issued from the Department of Finance. Transfers to another program/class or facility must be requested at least 5 business days prior to the program, class, or reservation date in writing. Transfer may be allowed if space or the location is available. The Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities has the right to cancel a program, class or rental due to the following reasons: o Insufficient enrollment o Instructor illness o Inclement weather Full refunds will be provided.
